BRCA Round 2 - Halifax

Dez Chand reports -

Well done to everyone, was some good racing and helpful co-operation on the rostrum which kept the racing as clean as possible and made for an enjoyable day out for us all. Some gentlemen showed their class in Superbike, Dave Andrew waiting for Colin that he'd knocked off so there was no hard feelings, all good to see.

Nice to see a healthy turn out of Nitros, three Superblades now that John Veal has joined the Waterfall father and son team, I'm sure they forgive you for beating them both John, as you set pole position with Allan’s creation. Good to see the KP Nitros, both two and four stroke out on track though Graham ran himself a bit thin with three classes to really get to grips with the four-stroke, though it did the whole 15 minute final without taking on fuel (but still doing the compulsory pit stop) while Dave Andrew went on to give the two-stroke KP nitro its first win, though a good clean scrap with Colin and the much improved Ken Dineen machine was sadly missed after Colin suffered fuel tank seal failure and retired.

Strangely no track race nor lap records broken on this cold yet sunny day at Halifax, but new record set in Supersport of course, by Dave Scouse with him McLarney Daytona, GRP front PMT rear, Nosram Speedo and Novak 13.5 pro (sintered) motor.
