Race results from SMCC

A lovely sunny meeting yesterday. Peter Glover reports:

It was good to see you guys yesterday, and i hope you enjoyed the day, shame there wasnt a few more of the minimoto riders on kart track as i am sure we would have got even more interest, having said that quite a number of people were to be seen track side when the bikes were out.

It will be good to see you all back at some stage.

Anyway, the full results will be on the SMCC website in the next few days, but in the mean time.

The final was great to watch, Jev was driving away from you all, until a lack on pinion gear put paid to him, Steve, Gerald and Andy then had a good scrap, Andy then dropped back a bit and coming onto the last lap Gerald and Steve were about 0.5sec apart Steve eventually taking the win by just over 1 sec.

Graham seemed to be struggling all day, and was still trying various setups after the meeting when i had shut up shop and was leaving the track, did it get dark while you were still there, or did you chuck the bike in the bin !!!!!.

Hope to see you all again at some time in the future, next time i will ensure that we change the format to give you all 2 finals, this will mean having to give all the 5th two shorter finals as well as the timing software we have doesnt allow us to run different formats.
